1969 Buick Electra 225 Convertible at Weston Park April 2015

The Most Luxurious Buick

I really enjoyed having a gander at this beautiful 1969 Buick Electra 225 Convertible showing at Weston Park. It looked utterly of the period in burnished brown metallic (original colour), white vinyl roof and lavish buckskin interior.

It’s a true land yacht at 18.74 feet long and 6.7 feet wide and it looked really slick when it sailed past us on the way out of the show.

A very impressive motor for those of us that appreciate the truly subtle lines of the sixties.

Check out the 360 video of this awesome 69 Buick Electra 225 here.

    Hi,
Glad you liked the car. We brought it to the Weston Park show from the Isle of Wight.
Colour is Burnished brown metallic (original colour) and the interior colour is Buckskin.
Top is white vinyl as per build sheet.
We like the pictures and video!

    Cheers.

      Hi Guy,
Thanks for reaching out and I appreciate the information about the colour. I’m using a guide to models and specs that gives the names of the colours but doesn’t show them! I’ve changed the article to reflect your input. Like I said the colour really suits the car and would have liked to have got a few shots with the top up. I suppose we were lucky not to see the roof as it was a lovely day for convertible cruising.

We’ve just started this site hence the dummy content but it will be up and running properly in a week or so. The idea is to just get out there and get pictures of as many cars as possible. We take a no frills approach as wobbly videos and unprocessed pictures offer a realistic view of what these cars are like (awesome generally).

Hopefully get a chance to have a chat next time we cross paths.

      Keep the dream alive,
      Jason
